During the three-day long meeting the invited guests can get to know each other’s best practices and research results by the introduction of the Hungarian and international partners. Further aim of the program is to establish long-term cooperation.

In January 2010 a new library was founded: the Csorba Győző Library. Conservator: the Baranya - Pécs Public Library Association; predecessor instituitons: Csorba Győző County Library and Pécs City Library. The county-city library operates in the Transdanubian Regional Library and Knowledge Centre since 25 October 2010. The centre of administration for all libraries of the city is also in this building.
